The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) is available to speak about our work overseeing the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) at meetings and events.

We welcome opportunities to discuss our civilian oversight responsibilities with individuals or groups who are interested, upon request.  Such engagements also allow us to directly hear community concerns, which are invaluable in helping to inform the work that we do.  We appreciate connecting with community groups, government entities, business associations, academic institutions, counterpart oversight agencies, and more.  We look forward to listening to your priorities as they relate to the LAPD, and to any ideas you may have for potential improvement in the policing services that it provides.
